In 2009, 85% of PUAC running costs will be covered by the sale of vegetables. But for risky investment and support to its development, PUAC relies partly on external support to help the poor farmers of Kompong Speu. The main donor is the Belgian General Department for Cooperation and Development (DGCD). Other contributors are the charities organisation "Europe-Tiers Monde" *and "Aide au Dévelopement Gembloux"*. Contributions are mainly covering investments in water access, research and trials, institutional strengthening, and other supports that would be to risky if taken in charge by PUAC minimal budget.

PUAC offers adequate levels of transparency and accountability about how money from contribution is spent. PUAC is regularly reporting to its contributors on objectives, accountancy, organizational structure, achievements, etc. In return, PUAC have chosen to implement socially responsible policies towards its associated farmers. Farmers have been organized in order to get more and more involved in PUAC management, expecting in turn building correlation between PUAC activities and high performance.
